My sister in law’s nephew (“So what’s that make us?”) is a very good guy, West Point hopeful, etc. and has a buddy who “Just moved to the USA from California” LOL and who wanted to try out a few guns he hadn’t shot yet. We went to the range with another new shooter/friend I’ve been working with and tried a bunch of guns, their guns, my guns, their ammo, my ammo, and had a very enjoyable 3-4 hours shooting.

It was almost like the good old days before the great ammo drought of 2020-21 Big Grin

With the severe ammo crunch lately it was somewhat freeing and deeply satisfying to bust loose and just shoot a bunch of guns and not worry about how I was going to replace the ammo LOL.

We shot:
FIE .25 ACP (Surprisingly fun)
Arminius HW3 .32 S&W Long (Terrible and awesome)
Glock 48
SIG P365
Ruger 22/45 MKIII/Burris FFII
S&W M&P CORE 9L/RMR
SIG P226. (A fave)
Beretta 92FS Brigadier
Dan Wesson Heritage Razorback 1911 .45 ACP
Glock 41
Pietta Colt "Navy" .44 with Taylor's .45 Colt conversion cylinder
Pietta Remington NMA "Sheriff" with Taylor's .45 Colt conversion cylinder
Uberti 1875 Remington in .45 Colt
S&W M&P 340 .357 (ouch!)
Kel-Tec PF-9
Walther P.38 (AC41)
SWD M11/NINE with Lage M-11/22 conversion and AWC suppressor
Ruger PC Carbine/Romeo 5
SDS/Lynx-12 (Chinese Saiga 12) which was a HOOT!
Wasr-10 with Magupul Zhukov furniture
Ishapore Enfield in 7.62x51
Springfield Armory M1A
FN SCAR-17S
SIG Tread 5.56 pistol/brace

I think I got them all. Anyway, tons of fun.

My boss & I had a vendor meeting & lunch yesterday.
Meeting was at a large indoor gun club in town.

Got through the meeting & lunch portion, t hen proceeded to the range for some shooting.

Glock 17, Knights SR-15 w/ EoTech, STI Staccato P

The Glock, was a Glock. Nothing special to report.
The Knights was a nice rifle, but didn't seem significantly better than my built AR. Also wasn't a huge fan of the 'dot' on the EoTech. 2 stacked dots in a red circle. Seemed to throw most of the group off a bit, not knowing which dot to use.

The Staccato, such a sweet shooter, but that MSRP Eek

RSOs kept bringing more boxes of ammo, so we just kept on shooting. Had a 6 lane pod to to ourselves for the majority of the time we were there.

The rest of the group hit up the simulator, but we had to get back to the office, so we missed out on that part.

The Enemy's gate is down.

I generally just wipe the fingerprints and crud off and keep guns well-lubed these days. Actually I do need to thoroughly clean the Enfield because we shot some horrible (and I'm sure corrosive) Egyptian click-bang ammo through it. Thanks for the reminder!

Good lineup! I agree about the double-dot reticle on the Eotech.

To say I'm envious would be a gross understatement. I'm sure that was an enjoyable time for everyone.

You Sir, are a better man than I. Under the no end in sight ammunition crisis I do not share ammo. No way, no how, no exception. Congrats.
