Looking on the reasonably 'cheap' side to install a laser on a P250 compact, same frame of course as the P320 compact. Am considering trading this with a friend and he really needs a laser due to shoulder issues.... help?

Crimson Trace Rail Master. I saw them on Amazon for 128 bucks.
That's as cheap as I would go.
A buddy has one and he claims its great.
