I need some new p226 grip screws but I don’t want to pay sig prices. Is the 226 screw the same as or close enough to the 239 grip screw?

Ignored facts still exist |
Threads same, but P239 screws are longer. 0.14" vs 0.18" But if you use the thicker wood grips on a 226, then the P239 grip screws are the correct ones. look under the description here and you will see what I'm talking about. https://www.topgunsupply.com/s...d-p228-p229-9mm.html and here https://www.topgunsupply.com/s...otted-head-p239.html That said, 40 mil isn't a lot, but I don't mess around with "close enough" with my valuable sigs You might already know this, but I'll add it just in case. be careful and don't over tighten. I've heard of several people stripping out the threads on the frame and there's no easy fix for that. .
