Is the P239/P226 Grip Screw the Same? Login/Join

I need some new p226 grip screws but I don’t want to pay sig prices. Is the 226 screw the same as or close enough to the 239 grip screw?

Threads same, but P239 screws are longer.

0.14" vs 0.18"

But if you use the thicker wood grips on a 226, then the P239 grip screws are the correct ones.

That said, 40 mil isn't a lot, but I don't mess around with "close enough" with my valuable sigs Smile

You might already know this, but I'll add it just in case. be careful and don't over tighten. I've heard of several people stripping out the threads on the frame and there's no easy fix for that.
