I really like the Holosun EPS and EPS Carry. The 48 is probably technically meant to have an EPS Carry, but both fit and the larger window of the normal EPS is a plus in my book. I think the enclosed emitter for a concealed gun makes sense as a way to avoid all of the lint and stuff that ends up inside an open emitter optic.

I also think the Vortex Defender and the new C&H stuff (especially the EDC XL are worth a look.

Green or red comes down to whatever your eyes prefer.

Please note that the cut on the 48 MOS is a pure Shield RMSc cut and will not fit the Holosun 407K/507K or EPS optics without a plate or modification. The Glock cut has four recoil bosses but the Holosun stuff only has recesses for two the recesses are also shorter than the bosses. The C&H plate is a simple passthrough design that uses the existing screw holes.

The closed emitter is what made me swap out my RMR for the EPS in green. The battery changing without un mounting the optic is a big plus too.

I've got an EPS carry on mine. It comes with the adapter plate which is nice so it bolts on without needing any additional stuff. I am also all about the enclosed emitter. Its nice just wiping lint and such off.

Stupid question time. Does the EPS Carry have the same footprint as the 407/507k that I currently have on my 365 factory cut?

The only thing to be aware of is that that EPS deck height is slightly lower, so on some guns, you may need shorter screws. Generally not an issue with your screw holes are compatible with the threads on the screws included with the EPS.

Nice! I was thinking of the 507k but I wanted a bigger dot. I like a 6MOA which the EPS carry has.
