Did you change the ejector as well?

Replaced the trigger housing at the same time. So yes, it could be that the ejector was the problem. However, comparing Oem to apex, the quality difference was evident so I kept it and the gun runs great now.

Gen 3 with unknown rounds belongs to a student, assume at least 5k min. Started ejecting BTF, worked with them over a number of months replacing every part one at a time with OEM (same part # / revision). No change.
Even tried Gen 5 ejector. No change.
Ended up going to the Apex Failure Resistant Extractor - problem finally solved & still going strong 1k rounds later.
Mixture of various 115, 124, and 147 grain.

Apex indicates that their extractors are only for certain models of 9mm pistols. Has anyone tried them on other 9mm models or pistols other than 9mm?

Have run two Apex extractors, no issues and fixed erratic ejection and the infamous brass to face.

As for price, look for someone with a lightly used one, for a gen4. Wink
