Just got a notification from Osage County Guns that the OEM Sig factory P365 striker assembly is now finally in stock. Latest upgraded assembly from Sig if you are looking for a spare. Everybody has been out of stock forever on these. Just thought I would give a heads up. Smile

Thanks for that. Safe to assume you did an upgrade? If you did I'm curious to understand your experience? Primer drag issues? Round count? Etc...

Wally - Thanks Sir. Having two P365’s that we both carry it is a great idea to have an extra....Just ordered one and I love OCG’s reasonable shipping costs. Just $3.95 to ship...Now that is a company that is always working to keep their customers happy. John, Brad, and the entire OCG staff are the BEST at what they do.....Mark

Just curious, is the 365 striker plastic or steel? My Beretta Nano has a plastic one.

Expat: I just wanted a spare. The P365 is a fantastic design. I am sure the bugs have been worked out but IF it has a weak spot it is probably the striker. I know they did several upgrades so I wanted to be sure I had the latest version. And at $34.99 for the whole assembly it felt like cheap insurance.

I have a different billing than shipping address. My two attempts to order from them have failed the address process. This was resolved by most online vendors 20 years ago. Anyone else having this issue. They aren't answering phone or replying to emails.

What's the difference between the current strikers and those from about two years ago? I was gonna go aftermarket. But if there has been an improvement, I might stick with OEM.

There have been a couple of upgrades on the original design. I know for sure they have reinforced the tip (firing pin area ) Hopefully we have a couple of members who could provide more expert advice on this than myself.

The latest version has the angled tip to prevent the "much maligned" striker drag.

I am wondering I have a standard 365 manual safety and an XL model. The rear of the striker assembly on the two are different, where they engage and lock the rear slide plate. Which one will this one fit? The standard model appears to have a plunger that must be pushed forward to relieve the plate, the XL has a flex tab that must be pushed to the right (looking from the rear of the slide)

Thank you for the heads up!

If I order this I'll have to get off my ass and finally pick up a P365 to put it into!!

Jkingrph: If you go to Osage county guns website and do a search for "P365 striker" it will pop up. There are several detailed HD photos of the striker from all different angles. You can also enlarge the photos. By comparing these to your current P365 striker you should have your questions answered . Hope this helps.

SIGWALLY, I did look. and could not really tell. I went ahead and ordered. At this point I am not going to take strikers out and see if they are interchangeable as it requires prying pushing on plastic parts which I prefer to keep at an absolute minimum.

Jkingrph, I think that is a good idea and a good way of looking at this issue. If it ain't broke don't fix it, and IF it does break you have the spare. good for you.

Thanks for the heads-up. My P365, purchased new on-line on Nov. 7, 2019, had a mfd. date of May 13, 2019. I just examined it, looks like it still has the older round-tip version striker, not the angled tip like the pics on Osage's site. I will plan to order a back-up.

No issues with the pistol up to this point. Had it out this weekend at the farm for a casual range trip. Still low round count, about 200 or so. Not in my carry rotation yet.

Examining spent cases, I do see evidence of primer drag, but not concerned about it.
