German p220 trigger issues Login/Join

I was able to pick up a West German P220. The trigger is acting odd. When the hammer is cocked I can pres the trigger slightly and lower the hammer slowly. If I pull the trigger there is a noticeable bump then the hammer falls. Is this a malfunction or some unique trigger set up? My other Sigs do not do this. I will try and post a video.

Cheers

You mean you can lower the hammer slowly using the trigger to stop it falling quickly?

I assume you're using the terms 'press' and 'pull' interchangeably here, but regardless, if I'm understanding you correctly, it sounds like something is not right with your P220. I don't have your answer, but Pics/Video would DEFINITELY be helpful in diagnosing your issue. Wink

That said, you should probably post this in the 'SIG Armorer' sub-forum for the best diagnosis and/or a likely solution to your trigger issue.
