I've had no issues with the aluminum ammo. I grew weary of the 'knowledge base' regarding the 'dangers' of this ammo, so shot up some in my M&P Pro 9mm. I hand loaded said brass with 115 gr plated bullets to similar velocity of the factory load, and did it again. One case out of the 100 had a split case mouth from the belling for the plated bullet. It took 3-4 firings before I felt enough was done to go ahead and load several hundred once fired for a USPSA match. No issues, other than the repeated thrashing of my intelligence The brass pickers were not impressed.

I believe that Blazer, Blazer Brass and the Federal aluminum cased 9MM are all loaded with thinly plated bullets. In the fine print they caution against using in a ported pistol. That said, I've never had a problem in ordinary guns, but I rarely buy the stuff. I did get malfunctions in a ported Shield before I noticed the warning. I'd have really been bent out of shape if I'd shot the stuff in my H&K PSP.
