This year has not been a fun one for me, however in spite of-or perhaps because-it was important to me to do some of the traditional holiday things, such as;

Last night I helped a friend volunteer with the garden railway a local group sets up at Botanica, a local botanical garden, you can see one of the two trains on the layout, passing the control box in the foreground. Thank God for portable, propane fired heaters!
