80% G43 lower that uses SIG P365 mags.

If I understand correctly, 80% frames, lowers are not completely finished?

What steps would be needed to finish this frame? I don't have any Glocks to convert, but just curious. Thanks.

Look, i get it, there are a number of folks who believe there is nothing wrong with the 365. You can trust them all you want. I think Sig does just enough to get by. I don't trust them and it's ok. I don't have to agree with you. I think Sig makes cheap guns. I still buy them, but I also heavily modify them because I think they're shit parts. Are you ok with me thinking they use shit parts? If i don't share your opinion am i wrong?

Maybe you need to get your head around the fact that your opinion isn't everyone else's...gasp!

Then why not just buy a non-mim aftermarket striker for a 365?

The 365 has better sights, way better trigger, removable chassis to accommodate multiple frames, and let’s not forget it’s actually designed to use a 10 or 12 rounder. I would trust a gun that’s using the mags it was designed to use a lot more. “I’mma drop this AMG V12 in this here Honda Civic...sure it will work just fine”

If these are made to the same specs as other 80% Glocks, it should come with everything you need. Poly80s come with a jig, and the correct size drill bits and steel locking blocks. You provide the power tools that fit them.

After that add a lower parts kit and you are good to go.

There’s plenty of YouTube videos on how to finish them.

I like the concept of this conversion a lot, but like others, I don’t want to deal with the 80% part. Looks like a win - win to me.

Well... yeah. It depends on the quality of the parts and the skill and knowledge of the person building it. Back in the day... we used to call that a custom gun and rated it more highly than a factory gun. An 80% Glock that I build has a lot of careful hours of attention put into it.. and I tend to buy high end custom parts ... especially slides and barrels.

I'd like it if they offered a fully built 100% kit as well as the 80. Great idea. I like Glock quite a bit but they don't step out of the box very often. I think alot of innovation concerning Glock will likely be aftermarket based. That said if Glock released one of these tomorrow I'd be on it like gangbusters. It's what I was hoping the "legendary" model would be.

Far as I can see, these still aren't for sale. I've got two Poly/Glock kits I still need to build... but I sure would like to pick one of these up if they can get them shipped!

A thread back from the dead. I forgot about this.

Someone should send that video to Polymer 80 (although I'm sure they've seen it already.) They could probably get the project done.
