gunguru123New to my USPc 40 in SS....
...not so long ago, my buddy let me shoot his USPc V1 in 40 and I loved it. It had a soft recoil and of course I am a big fan of the USP. So I picked up this slightly used one today. I have not decided whether or not I am going to make it a light LEM version as most of my HK’s are. Biggest issue, the stainless steel slide is slippery when dry. When wet, from water, sweat, blood, etc, might be an issue. A LEM kit is on the way, as well as a larger mag release.
Pics as soon as Flikr starts working again.

JellyI always thought the USPc in 40 were good shooters for the size. I've had one for many years, always been able to shoot it better than my glock 23. Never noticed the slide was slippery on mine but it not a stainless one either.

jjkroll32the USP series is beginning my foray back to da/sa and hammer fired pistols.
Something is just plain right about those pistols, in full size and compact forms.

gunguru123I put 300 rounds through it today, such a soft shooter for a compact 40. I shot 165 and 180gr FMJ, WWB, Remington and Winchester Train and Defend. Shot various JHP, PDX1 165gr, Train and Defend 180gr, TAC-XPD 140grf (very soft shooting), Hornady Critical Duty 175gr, Sig 180gr JHP, Federal 165gr Hydra-shok and HST 180gr. Soft shooting, accurate, great gun IMO. My IWB G-code fits my HK P30SK, P2000 and this USP.

cslingerI really like HK pistols......REALLY shitty triggers and all.

There are a few guns that combined with the .40 S&W are just matches made in heaven. The SIG P229, P239 and most certainly the HK USP/USPc /P2000. Those pistols and that round are synergy in action.
Enjoy your antiquated, obsolescent handgun and caliber.

gunguru123I love the outdated USPs

I ordered a 357 Sig barrel today. Such an easy gun to shoot in 40, probably even better in 357 Sig.
Next to my HK P2000.
Next to my full sized USP 9mm
