Wandering, but not lost...I think |
The legendary collective knowledge of SIGforum being what it is, I seek an answer which my Google-fu could not provide. I have an old Ruger MK I .22LR pistol in decent condition, save for the original plastic grip panels which delaminated at some point. I can find grips galore for MK II through present variants, but nothing for the MK I. Aside from the lack of a cutout for the slide lock lever, the screw holes are spaced differently, which I discovered after ordering a set of MK II panels from Brownell’s. Help me, SIGforum! You’re my only hope!

here are a couple of other options: custom-made: https://mkigrips.com/ pachmayer: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/844789103 If you're looking for the grips with the red in the medallion, though, it might be easier to get a hen's tooth.

Also, I think there are two different frames in the old Standard/Mark 1, the A54 and the A100, the screw holes have a different spacing. Relative position of the lower grip screw is the best indicator. If the left lower screw is higher than the right, the frame is A100 and will be so stamped. A54 frames are not stamped.
