I just picked up a 226 from 1994 with some SigLite sights on it. What's the proper contrast set for this vintage? 8/8? 7/7 height? | ||

The common answer is 8/8, however, that is not always best. My 1995 P226 came to me with 6/8, which I changed to 7/7. Shoot the gun first to see your POI. What sight noumbers are on the gun now? Go from there to determine what you need. | |||

Some brands are numbered, but you have to look close because the numbers are small and not highlighted. I would post photo examples but PhotoBucket won't let me. | |||
