I just picked up a 226 from 1994 with some SigLite sights on it. What's the proper contrast set for this vintage? 8/8? 7/7 height?

The common answer is 8/8, however, that is not always best. My 1995 P226 came to me with 6/8, which I changed to 7/7. Shoot the gun first to see your POI. What sight noumbers are on the gun now? Go from there to determine what you need.

Some brands are numbered, but you have to look close because the numbers are small and not highlighted. I would post photo examples but PhotoBucket won't let me. Mad
