Anyone try the new EoTech EFLX micro pistol red dot? Supposedly has the delta point pro footprint, so should be a nice match for P320/M17 pistols that are already factory milled. I purchased one black Friday from EoTech for like $275 and decided to give it a try. It will be here in a few days. Has 20,000 hour battery life which beats the Delta Point Pro's 600 hour battery life handily.

Also purchased a Sig Romeo 1 Pro on black Friday for another gun and will compare them side by side.

I have seen good reviews online. It looks like Eotech may have licensed an existing design from a decent Bushnell sight and tweaked it to be even better. If I was not so caught up in enclosed emitters, it would be at the top of my list.

I like the size and other specs. Suggestions where to send a slide to be milled?

I too have been interested in the EFLX red dot. Waiting for the 3 MOA dot version to become available, and expect it should go right on my P226 Pro-cut. I am looking forward to hearing about your thoughts on it and comparsons with the Romeo 1 Pro.

That was a great discount you got there!

I’m also interested. I want to know if the glass is as clear as the DPP. I’m not a fan of the blue-green tint of the RMR. I’m wanting to put one on my rifle with an offset mount.

This was one of the candidates to replace the Romeo 1 Pro on my 320 before the Romeo 2 went on sale. It seems like a run of the mill red dot at a decent price, however I did hear that SageDynamics on Instagram was having problems with the optic keeping zero after racking it off barriers.

Those look a lot like the old Dockter red dot sights.

OK I got the EoTech EFLX in today. Mounted up perfectly on my P320 VTAC. Initial impressions are... I much prefer it to the Romeo 1 Pro. For one, it has actual adjustable brightness levels. The Romeo 1 is either way too dim or way too bright, with not enough adjustability. It also feels and appears duty rated, unlike the Romeo 1 Pro which feels like the chintzy $50 Chinese toy that it is.

I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet side by side, but so far the EoTech looks solid.

How's the view through the glass? Distortion around the edges? Funky color tinting? Does it feel pretty solid with that one-piece housing?

It's $389 now; I'm thinking I should have jumped on it on Black Friday.
