valkyrie1Picked up an M11A1
Installed Armory Crafts 19lb hammer spring and sear spring kit plus the E2 grip kit. Happy the way everything works well for me. It has the SRT already.

Marlin FanThe only thing bad about an M 11 is the magazines cost a little more compared to a regular P229.

randymanAn excellent choice! I have just moved my FDE M11A1 into my daily carry rotation. Let us know when you find a good price for the mags please.

iron chefM11-A1 is backwards compatible w/ legacy P228/229 9mm mags, they just sometimes rattle a little since they're narrower. When I had a P229-1 and M11-A1, I never noticed it, but others have reported so.

Not any more. The P228, 9mm, original mags must be considered collector’s items now. The P229-1 9mm mags that the M11-A1 uses are about $25.00 or less and hold 15 rounds. The only P228, 13 round mags that I found that are in current production, are pushing $45. Also the new 13 round P228 maggs, have the plastic base pads instead of the original metal type.
