mcs1564P210 .22LR Conversion Question
I have a 2011 P210 Legend on the way in was wondering if anyone had any experience running a .22LR conversion on one. Just curious to know if there was any issues with fit or overall use.
Thanks.

rburgThe real issue is the lack of magazines. Installing them and removing them is easy. Shooting them is pretty easy, too. Loading them not so much, but not much different from 9mm or .30 Luger.
Mine isn't very picky about ammo, firing about anything you feed it. Won't fire shorts and feeding is more positive with high velocity long rifles. Fun to shoot and keeps you feeling the trigger, same as the centerfire calibers.

drshameWill the Swiss/Sig .22 conversion kits work with the Sig/USA Models?
Hows accuracy/reliability?
Damn pricey though...I think a S&W Mdl 41 is cheaper!

I really need to make sure to have a cup of coffee before I post in the morning. It didn't cross my mind that I've never seen a thumb release .22lr mag.
Eventually, I'll look to pick up a .30 Luger barrel.

hrcjonI don't know about coffee fixing this issue. I paid less for my first P210 than the conversion kit I bought later. Of the top of my head I can't think of gun that costs more to have .22lr conversion than a P210.
Go get a 41 and be happy. this path in the absence of some other factor is very very expensive...

Its both the barrel and the recoil spring. I've wondered it you can use the .30 spring with the 9mm barrel. Recoil seems about the same and it'd be a nice thing to have a spare. I'd be a bit worried about battering the frame with the lighter spring.

hrcjonI'm pretty sure you are not talking about P210's here.

That's a given. I've yet to see a .30 Luger barrel for sale without a guide rod and spring.

I've had .30 Luger conversion barrels fitted to a Hi-Power and a P226. Based on the spring weights that were required, I wouldn't chance running 9mm with one.

Any answers? I have a .22LR Conversion kit and two (2) extra magazines that I used on my P210-6 (bought from "rburg" but now gone) that I'd like to put up for sale in the Classifieds.
Many thanks for your replies,

I've seen one of these. Only one. It sold for more than my .30 Luger P220.
