Tips to Collecting SIG P49s
Hi folks,

I wanted to share a few SIG Collector’s Guide videos we made for the SIG P49 1st, 2nd, and 3rd variations. As a SIG collector myself, I wanted to share some insight and tips into what one needs to look for when collecting P49s. These are some of our first videos, so please be patient....

SIG P49 1st variation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOXiTSrDCMA&t
SIG P49 2nd variation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqWDW1DsbiU&t
SIG P49 3rd variation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGxG4tIkdrI&t

Historic Investments is also starting a video and article collection that some may be interested in: https://investmentsinarms.com/blog/

As one of the authors of the new Vickers Guide: SIG SAUER (vol. 1), please find a link to my book review: https://investmentsinarms.com/...r-vol-1-book-review/ . Of course I have a conflict of interest here, but check it out if you are curious to see an in-depth review of the Vickers Guide SIG book.

Finally, I’d be happy to answer any questions and share some insight I have gained on my 30 years of firearms and SIG collecting!

Looking forward to joining this SIG community.

My volume arrived Friday and I am very pleased. Unbelievable quality and detailed views of rare SIGS. The book is an investment in it's own right.

I´m interested in the book but I don't know if the content is justifiying it except for the pictures.
Is there a chance for you to post a picture of the table of content and the bibliography?

OTD The book is not a true collector guide. More of an art book with the best photos I have ever seen. But there are photos of many pre-prototypes and many contract trial guns. Sub machine gun prototypes close it out.
I'm between photo services or I would be happy to post the two (large) pages of contents.

Seems like a very nice, broad brush coffee table book. Which is how I see most of the Vickers books as. Since I don't own one of the guns I found the P49 videos informative, but I'm not sure how much of that is the kind of more in-depth content that can be found in the book, even after watching the video review on the book itself.
