Hello: I just purchased a Sig P365. It came with two 10 round magazines, one of which has the extended base plate. I called Sig Sauer to see if I could order that base plate for the other magazine. They are currently not selling the part. The Rep referred me to a company called ShapeWays that is 3D printing Mag base plates. Has anyone tried these? Shapeways offers 3 sizes (sm, med & Lg). I can't tell which one is closest to the Sig OEM part. So if you have tried this part, which one did you order? Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated.

I just did an internet search for this yesterday. I used the search terms that you used in your title. There must be half a dozen companies making extended base plates now. SHAPEWAYS is just one of them. The company might be the best source to answer your question. If people would mind their own damn business this country would be better off. I owe no one an explanation or an apology for my personal opinion.

I got the large aluminum versions from NDZ performance they’re excellent. I had the shape ways one and was not as happy with them.

Welcome to the forum. You could also find someone that wants to swap baseplates with you. Their extended one for your flat. That’s what I did when I wanted both to be flat. Good luck.

I only have some of the Shapeways right now. After some use, one had a lip break off (which is how it attaches to the mag body). I'm still using the others but am looking for better replacements.
