Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Just got 320 compact with a Romeo1 RD.
Was just wondering how close these RDs come to being fairly well adjusted.
I expect to have fine tune it.

I use a bore laser. Put it in the pistols chamber and then adjust the red dot to the laser dot.
Shield sights suggested at 17 meters that pretty well covers SD shots and those at longer ranges.
I've found this works well with out firing a live round.
Remember you're firing pistol ammo so understand what a pistol round does.
This will get your red dot well zeroed in.
For cousing the laser dot to show up any reflective
material will work. you can buy reflective tape on Amazon___very reasonable.

They likely come adjusted to their mechanical zero (fifty percent of horizonal and vertical range). What that means compared to actual zero or to iron sights will vary by gun and probably somewhat significantly.

I generally start with dialing the optic to the top center of the front post as a VERY rough start and then zeroing entirety independently of irons.
