I have a specific project in mind that will require consultation with a pistolsmith that specializes in work on 3rd generation Smith and Wesson Autos's, specifically the 3913. Can any of you recommend such a gunsmith? Thanks, Mike Smith/AAC Mike Smith 404-213-7753

Karl Sokol at Chestnut Mountain Sports. Still works on them. Teddy Jacobsen at Actions by T was working on the 3rd gens. Cant think of anyone else. Good luck! Regards 18DAI 7+1 Rounds of hope and change

Didn't Wayne Novak help in their development and did at one time offer work on them?

Yes, Wayne Novak did develope the 3rd gen guns for S&W. And until a few years back he did work on the 3rd gen pistols - including "Full House" Novak enhanced versions of 3rd gen guns (I still have not located a Novak 4506-1 or 4566 but would love to do so!) The Full House Novaks guns included match grade barrels and action work. Regards 18DAI 7+1 Rounds of hope and change

I highly recommend Wayne Novaks shop. His staff did a phenomenal job on a 645. Took a well cared for trusted gun and made it better with trigger work, accuracy, and sights. When they got done it was better than a new 4506! “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” -Theodore Roosevelt
