Has anyone tried one of these yet? From the videos I have seen, it looks like a super soft. price tag is a bit steep though.

I have one. It shoots just like the videos say it does. You'll blow out the center of your targets and come away smiling. It has the aluminum frame, so that is probably where most of the extra cost comes into play. If you decide to get one, I know you'll be pleased.

I know nothing about the sig .380 luxe. But the P-238 with aluminum frame cost less than the P-238 with SS frame.

ETA: Maybe aluminum vs. plastic?

Interesting. I haven't seen one in person yet. Is it larger or smaller than, say, a Beretta 84?

Several months ago I had a sudden, unexpected loss of strength in my right hand, and the cause of it is still undetermined. With lessened grip strength I was concerned that I could not shoot my 320 9mm safely. Just about as that happened I discovered the 365 Luxe and immediately ordered one.

After one range session, I can say that it is a delight to shoot with minimal (almost non-existent) recoil. It was extremely easy to control and shoot well even with the decreased strength. The trigger is excellent, and I do not feel unprotected with 12+1 rounds of .380. The Luxe grip makes it very easy to get a firm and comfortable grip. It is also very good looking.

I don’t know if or when my right hand will return to normal, but the Luxe will have a permanent place in my inventory.

Did you see my earlier post? The gun is excellent. If you get a chance to try one you'll see what I mean. It is as advertised.

Fredward was asking about the size of the gun.

Here is a comparison, the hot S&W Bodyguard 2.0 and the Luxe, which is noticeably larger, also thicker.

It's basically just a P365 in .380 with an AXG grip module and an integrated comp, right? Or am I kissing something?

Guns are great for kissing because they react the same way 20 years later as they did the first time. Not fickle at all.

The antis would have you believe they are slimy too, but we all know they are just smooth and cool to the touch.

Thanks, Oddball. I was the one missing something. I have a real knack for overlooking the obvious. And yes, I may have to try one. As the weather gets colder and wetter, my hands would appreciate a soft shooter. I have several Berettas, but they are quite snappy. I was even considering carrying the Model 81, but .32 just ain't gonna cut it.

Big Grin. It's 2025 and we're in the age of AI, yet autocorrect still screws everything up...

I found one to fondle at our local bass pro shop and I must say it felt great, looks like it has a custom lok grip panel axg frame not polymer, night sights, the finish is different kind of looks textured. 1000 price tag is a bit steep but I think I'm going to get one and try it. my wife doesn't care for the 9mm noise and kick and normally only shoots her walther ppk so it might just be perfect for her.

Yes, the price is high; but for me it was worth every cent.

For that much I would expect a DLC coated slide, rather than a shiny ceracote.

I agree, I really don't care for the finish.
