Wilson Combat Vertec/Brigideer
Has anyone handled one of these? I'm giving serious consideration to ordering one.

My experience is with a WC Brig slide on an M9a3, and I REALLY like that.

I really enjoy the Wilson Brigadier that I have but think I would much more enjoy the Vertec frame - I prefer the straight grip. Maybe I'll trade across one of these days.

Vertec frame & thin grips bring the Beretta into a whole new realm.

I like my Wilson Brig Tac, very nice Beretta. But it is just a factory Beretta. The Wilson Vertec's are cut down by Wilson to make the Vertec backstrap, hence the high price.

With the 92X on the market (Vertec backstrap) and the M9A3 (vertec), I'd have a hard time paying for the Wilson Vertec, it might be cheaper in the long run to buy a 92X or M9A3 and have it sent to Wilson for upgrades you specifically want.

If you have to have the Brig slide, you might be stuck with the Wilson offering. Kinda pricy IMO though.

Also included in the price of the WC Vertec Brig is the mag guide, which I really like, and the action tune with the chrome silicon springs IIRC. That is a value of about $225 I think.

Yes, the pistol is pricey, but you get a lot for your money IMHO.

I have to have the brig slide. We shall see. A P210 Standard costs less, is locally available, and I can get mags for 42 bucks. On the other hand, I love the Vertec grip and Brig slide, and I have 40+ 92 mags. As Ursula said in The little Mermaid, "Life's full of tough choices." I know, first world issue.
