On the webpage, the image shimmers but there's pixels covering up where the dingus should be. If it has one.

P320 + P365 = P685 not P385.

20+65=85

I kind of see what they were thinking, or not.

I am still excited to see and eventually handle and shoot one.

Nameless internet rumors are that not only does it have a dingus, it also will not be available in .40 or .357 SIG. We shall see in about three days longer.

The 'P385' variant in the obscured pic seems to be compensated based on the location of the front sight, does NOT have a manual safety. and may or may not have a 'dingus', or perhaps a hinged trigger. I for one hope it has neither. Wink

Until the actual gun shows up, believe nothing from the blurry pic. Remember the original M11-A1 advertising campaign? The teaser pic hinted at the short extractor. Roll Eyes

While we wait, we must draw strength from Ignatius Dingus, Patron Saint of Negligent Discharges.

I would like to see Sig turn things around so I would have called it the Dingus 180.

I asked Grok to compose "A Prayer of Patience and Faith to Ignatius Dingus, Patron Saint of Negligent Discharges"

Rather good, don't you think?:

O Ignatius Dingus, accidental apostle of the unlooked-for bang,
you who preside over the moment the finger finds the trigger before the mind finds the safety,
hear us who live among loud surprises and sudden holes in things that should not have holes.

Grant us patience when the world is careless,
when haste outruns habit,
when a small motion becomes a large event,
and when the only thing louder than the report is the silence that follows it.

Grant us faith that even the dumbest instant can be survived,
that a lesson paid in plaster, pride, and paperwork is still a lesson,
and that tomorrow we may yet keep the muzzle pointed where it belongs.

Teach us to check twice, to breathe once more,
to treat every tool as if it were already loaded with consequence.
When we fail, let the failure be small.
When we succeed, let us not call it luck and then forget.

Ignatius Dingus, patron of the negligent discharge,
stay the wandering digit,
steady the wandering mind,
and keep our accidents in the realm of story rather than scar.

Amen

Absolutely. Some of the best I've seen here, along with:

I got AI Gemini to translate it, and was surprised by how well I had figured it out.

Only a couple of days left. I'm hoping Sig hits it out of the park.

It's a dingus! Have a cigar!

Spy shots from the release party coming out. I dont see a trigger dingus.

5 models to start, 2 with ported barrels. Compact is a 4" barrel, Full sized 4.7" barrel. This looks like a legit press release.

Another early peek under the bedsheets -

http://www.soldiersystems.net/...sauer-launches-p385/

The pictures aren't as clear as the one from ibanda's post above, but I couldn't see a distinct dingus in them, either. Maybe they've got a dingus that's recessed in some way? It looks like there's a cross pin in the side of the trigger.

From the link they'll apparently be available with or without manual safeties. Also from the link, "new versions" of the P365 and P320 are expected to be available "later this year".
