I have a P320 SC that is a post upgrade weapon. It came with the curved skinny trigger. I've switched it to a flat stock trigger. Last night I was digging through the parts bin for a Glock 43 part and found a fat P320 curved trigger. I couldn't tell if you if it came from a post or pre upgrade weapon. I installed it and did several function checks and so far everything feels good. I prefer it much better. My question is, will this defeat any of the safety upgrades that Sig has made on the P320's? I'd prefer to run this trigger, but not if it will compromise anything. Thanks in advance.

I would direct your inquiry to SIG, but I suspect the answer you will get is “don’t do it.” The whole drop issue was that the trigger had enough mass that in very precise circumstances, it would have enough inertia to “pull itself.” So the main fix was to reduce the mass of the trigger. Now you want to replace it with the original mass? While they were changing the trigger, they also changed some function of the trigger assembly (added the disconnector as additional OOB protection and changed the operation of the trigger reset). I wonder if they even planned ahead for someone swapping back and made a slight mod where going back wouldn’t work. Never heard anything that said they did, but it wouldn’t have been a terrible idea. ------------------------------------------------ Charter member of the vast, right-wing conspiracy
