So, like most, have a few, and have built a few, AR-15 rifles. Clueless on the pistols though. Toyed with the idea of building a AR15 pistol, just kind of for fun. PSA has a few "shockwave" kits on their labor day special right now, and looking for thoughts/advice on them as a basic build, maybe upgrade a few parts later date.

I have one of those $259.99 shipped kits coming. I figure for that short money I'll build it, shoot it and then see what sort of changes/upgrades to make. Harshest Dream, Reality

I like to put handstops on the front end of my AR Pistols just so my hand won't slip forward. The PSA Kits are pretty much "plinker' grade, but they should work and run fine.

You might want to look at one in 300 Black. Ballistics are a little better than a .223 with a short barrel. Not that taking a .223 case and making it smaller and putting a heavier bullet makes a lot of sense.

I'm really liking my Saint pistol! I have a SBA3 on the way for it, and wish I would have seem one of those PSA SBA3 lower kits for $150 before I bought the saint though! For a 7.5" bbl, it sure is fun to shoot, and accurate as hell!
