I dig the way the double stack mag translated to a lower probability of hammer bite. Maybe the problem would've disappeared entirely with a rowel hammer?

Why the hell Sig on either side of the pond didn’t make this pistol when it modernized the gun is beyond me. With updated sights and trigger, I could only imagine how sweet the 16-rounder would have been.

Crazy not to put that into production. The 8rd capacity is a major reason I never bought the P210.

That wouldn't be that difficult for Sig to accomplish and they could go head to head with the proliferation of high end 9mm 1911's.
