Black92LXMec Gar now making Glock mags
******Slightly Older Thread*******
I finally got to run a class with these mags. I used my 3 G17 Mec Gar mags (no sleeves) in my Gen5 19 with a COA.
About 400 rounds of Winchester Ranger 100gr +P lead free frangible rounds.
Previously I had only used these ins static position, no holster work, no dropping mags, no reloads, no inserting a full mag on a gun with a round in the chamber.
Today, a fair amount of moving, lots of holstering, mags going in and out of pouches, hitting the concrete, getting kicked, lots of emergency and tactical reloads.
I had zero issues the whole day solely using these 3 mags.
I will say that on my first tactical reload, so a full magazine into closed slide with a round in the chamber, and having the magazine I just pulled in the same hand as I was inserting the fresh mag with, I did not feel like the magazine seated fully. So I gave it a quick tug and reinserted.
This was more than likely a me issue not wanting to drop the mag I had just pulled as the metal mags are a hair slicker when sweating vs the plastic Glock factory mags, so I did not send it home as hard as usual.
I was very happy with how they performed and am anxiously awaiting the 43X/48 mags to become available.

That's good to hear. I have held off ordering any. It looks like they are running well for most folks.
