He told me that during the time that he owned that gun, his little town in rural Indiana was 100% safe from marauding elephants...none of them even dared to make an appearance lol.

As to the levers...I own a bunch of Marlins in .22, .30-30, .357, .44, .45 Colt, and .45-70. I like to justify them as deer rifles (I don't hunt anymore), camp rifles (they have stayed bagged up in the truck every time I've taken one), or bear defense (got left behind when I went to Alaska because it didn't fit in my suitcase and I took revolvers instead). If I'm honest, they really do serve no practical purpose. But I like them and enjoy shooting them, and maybe someday I'll do something with them that justifies their existence to my wife, lol.

A GSG MP5K in .22, Masterpiece Arms MPA30 in 9mm, Desert Eagle in .357, AK74 Krinkov in 5.45x39, Croatian PHP MV in 9mm - just to name a few.

In a perfect world I would have a Sterling SMG.

I have a Leupold 1-4 firedot on mine and it works extremely well.

A friend once asked what I shoot with my .375 H&H. I said anything I damn well please. The question is understandable, but so is the answer with minimal thought.

To the OP though, my current illogical and unnecessary want is a Beretta 92. Maybe an Inox for some extra glitz. I shot one a few decades ago and I recall it being smooth as a mountain lake...big AF, but very smooth.

Just because of the build quality of a couple I'd handled, I ordered a Freedom Arms .454 revolver years ago. I had no Earthly use for a big uber powerful single action revolver. Fortunately, I ordered it with an aux .45 ACP cylinder. I still have it, but it's been a long time since I touched off a round of .454 in it

I've wanted quite a few for no reason. The Desert Eagle I think is the king of that catergory. I wish I hadn't sold it, cuz they ain't "approved" here.

That's oddly specific, and makes me think that there's a pretty good story here somewhere that needs to be shared .

This struggle is there. I find one, and I say I won't buy more. My husband has completely given up on me and I believe I may be somewhat immune to the sighs and eyerolls.
My most recent purchase was a 22LR Colt Diamondback 2 1/2" that I do not even have possession of yet. This happened two weeks ago after I thought things were over for me, and spent time in the ER and hospital. I just plain did it and bought an example I felt I could not improve on. Wanted/looked at them for 30 freaking years, but now I cannot use the birth year excuse for another gun. <<shit!>> So now I get "You won't shoot that one, will you?"

The magazines are universally acknowledged to be badly-converted 9mm Luger mags, but there are still moments when I wish I'd jumped on a Grand Power LP9M when they were on sale for under $500 just because a 9x18 Makarov with a five inch barrel and a 13-round mag is (IMHO) an incredibly silly idea.

And don't get me started on the French police surplus Arex Rex pistols in .32ACP with their 18-round magazines, 4 1/4" barrels and 22X-like operating system.

Small stuff to larger kits- 6ft to 8ft ones. $50 to a couple hundred dollars. Desktop to backyard size.
All you need is some basic tools, and an ample supply of rocks, or anything else you feel like launching: Potatoes, watermelon, liberals, gophers, annoying children…
