I bought it from a friend that has 400-500 rounds through it with no problems. What’s the word on a March 2018 gun? Should o replace the recoil spring or firing pin?

How can we tell? We haven't shot it.

Shoot it, replace parts as needed. RSA good for about 2000 more rounds. Get a spare, they are cheap.

Exactly this.

Mine is from April '18 and I'm coming up on close to 2500 rounds fired. Other than replacing the x-ray sights with HDs and the stock frame with one from Gray Guns, my 365 is stock.

I'd probably go put a bunch of rounds through it as a confidence builder. I suspect that the actual incidence of "problems" with the early guns was low, but it obviously was enough to prompt some changes. I recently took a similar vintage gun in on trade (from a member) and then sold it to a friend. He put 800 or so rounds through it with no problems. When I got mine (late 2019 production) I did 1000 with no cleaning or added lube before I'd carry it and had no issues.

You'll really like the gun, though.

I do like the size. I just couldn’t remember if there were issues around the time this one was made.

Mine was produced in Feb or Mar 2018. No issues from the beginning. Currently at 600 rds and holding until the range opens again.

Mine was produced around then. I trust it enough that my daughter is now carrying it, and I need another one for the trail. I may buy a XL the next time for trail duty.

Mine is of March 2018 manufacturer, and no issues to date. Note that round count is only around one thousand.

I also have one from that period....no issues at all. I’m around the 2k mark.

Had mine since May 2018, and it's now surpassed my PPS as my EDC

If it makes you feel more confident, there are multiple threads with members extolling the virtues and qualities of the 365 from '18 and onward.
have fun with it. My wife and I got Israeli recoil reduction systems to overcome hand arthritis. I carry it every day and my wife, who still prefers her P239 9mm, keeps in in her desk drawer.

Good luck to you.

Mine is March '18 and has been perfect so far. Still low round count, need to put some more rounds through it.

6500 rounds on a March, 2018 build, without any issues or modifications.
