Saw one of them a couple weeks ago, so how exactly are they getting away with that not being an AOW? "No, that a magazine holder, not a fore grip, so don't touch it". (and that's working?) Of course I guess THEY don't have to get around it, they're not putting it on your gun. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

Probably because it's angled and not vertical?

Yep. Same way everyone and their dog has angled foregrips on their AR pistols, CZ Evo pistols, etc. ATF has defined "vertical foregrip" as "a grip that is forward of the magazine well and that sits 90 degrees perpendicular to the bore". Therefore 90 degree vertical foregrip are bad, but angled foregrips that aren't 90 degrees are fine. Because that additional few degrees makes it extra deadly, y'know. Intent could also be an alternate factor. Like with the arm brace debacle, just because it could be shouldered, as long as it isn't intended to be a stock it's fine. Similarly here, even if it can be used as a grip it isn't intended to be a grip, it's for magazine storage.

It’s just a mag storage well. Harmless. Q
