RipleyP365 mag problem?
I just got three Sig branded P365 magazines from
CDNN Sports thanks to a heads up in another thread. $29.99/mag, one ten rnd. and two 12's, seemed like a good price.
Even using an UpLula, I can't load more than three rnds. in one 12 and the 10. Is this a known problem or am I missing something else? Using WWB 115 & 124 gr.

BKileI had similar issues. I suggest 2 things. First use a pencil with eraser or something similar to push down on the spring a couple times (helps loosen it up). Second is to make sure your uplula is set all the way toward back of magazine. If not, the spring will not go down evenly. Hope this helps and good luck.

RipleyThanks, BKile. Yes, the UpLula has to be set properly. I disassembled the mags, a light wipe down of the innards with some Tuf-Glide. Still hanging up so I put more effort into it. Both mags kind of popped and then accepted full loads. I'll let them sit a couple days, unload and reload. Then I'll have to get out and put some rounds through them to see if they work ok.

10-7 leoI have had a number of mags where there is a hitch around the fifth round. Applying a LOT of pressure, the follower will "break free" and move. I never tried to find the cause of the problem because all the mags worked fine after that.

Yeah, that "break free" moment gets one's attention. Nothing was evident on disassembly. I figured if something broke -- it takes some effort -- so be it. Loading the mags up and letting them sit for a few days seems to have been the trick.
One thing I did notice initially. After loading them with the hang ups, popping the rounds back out with my thumb, there was some extra resistance at about the same point the loading problems showed up. Now all rounds pop out fine.

MapornikI confronted the same issues with two 12 round Mags of muy 365 xl and one 15 round mag. Trying to load any of them past three rounds was impossible. Next day, I brought the uplula and things began to improve. By the fourth session I could load the mags with my bare hands. They need some break in, as well as the gun itself.
