I see SIG is advertising a new Romero Zero "Elite" for the 365XL.

I was looking on Amazon and they have numerous versions.

Is there one they offer that is just as good as the elite which would be cheaper of course.

Or is the new one so improved it's the only way to go?

This will be my first ever such sight so I want a good one as I don't have any plans to put any similar sights on any other handgun I own but if a lower priced is almost equivalent less spent is better.

Thanks.

Holosun 40K/507K are the standard for micro red dots. I would wait until the RZ Elite is available and has some testing and real world results available.

I'd wait for the Holosun EPS.

If you cannot wait, the 407k or 507k are good options.

The Romeo Zero is junk. I doubt a slightly improved version would be much better.

The Romeo Zero on my 365 is outstanding.

Easy to zero, no maintenance at all and it holds zero perfectly.

And, as Sig says, the lens is probably 10 times stronger than the glass lenses used in some other Red Dots, something that's important to me.

I recommend them highly.

This is my CCW carry and will be using a custom fit IWB holster. Have you had any issues keeping it at zero when holstering and unholstering?

Holosun 407k is about same price , maybe a touch more. Its slightly heavier (.5 ounce or so - difficult to fee a difference) its ramped , more substantial feeling . Its adjustments are much easier to use and to change batteries you dont need to remove it from the gun. Its aluminum with glass reticle vs. polymer . Its dot is clearer and there are more adjustments for brightness. It comes in a much nicer box with tools etc.

Hope that helps .....Holosun is much better IMHO

Nope, and I practice around 20 draws/holsters a day every day. I shoot it at least once a week and it stays at zero just fine.
