pedropcolaMy new P320 Spectre Comp
I do own a Spectre Comp but it’s in the 365 flavor. The slide does have some cuts but to my eye they are way more subdued and to my liking. I find the comp is effective and it definitely shoots “softer” than the non comped. I said softer, it’s really probably flatter shooting not softer. It is noticeable back to back.

Have you tried the Spectre Comp slide on the. AXG? Is there much of a grip difference to the AXG vs the laser cut TXG?

SigforallI just looked at this at my local guy today. They want $1679.00 cash price for it. Normally I do not care for the gold barrel and trigger color or the cut outs---but... If I see one for $1400.00 ish I'm in.

No I haven’t, but the TXG frame is both heavier and more ergonomic. I see no benefit to using the aluminum frame for the Spectre Comp

RamilianI got one and it was a disappointment. It will not cycle any ammo. I sent it back to Sig a week ago and I just got it back today. Customer service is awesome and the turnaround time is incredible. The gunsmith said he changed the barrel and the recoil spring and function tested usin 115 grain. I will try to get to the range this week to try it out.

Sorry to hear that and hopefully it’s fixed. Granted I only gave maybe 100 rounds through mine so far, but no issues to report.

RamilianI got my Spectre Comp back from Sig and went to the range and I still have the same problem. They told me to send it back. I was able to fire two rounds before it stove pipe again.

monoblokI picked up a 320 SpecComp not too long ago; aside from those damn 10rd mags that it was saddled with its first range session went well. Mostly 115gr but it grouped pretty good, at least for me. My shooting companion that day didn't do quite so well with it, but she has a strong bias towards hammer guns and doesn't know what she's missing when it comes to strikers.

The lightening cutouts still bug me, but at least they're not as obnoxious as some previous SIG efforts.
I think I prefer how it shoots over the X5 Legion, but it's been awhile since I've shot that one and my fading impressions of the elder P320 might not be as clear as it could be. I was surprised at how much stiffer the SpecComp's recoil spring is compared to the X5 Legion's. Maybe it's due to those two big dirt collection holes that SIG chopped into the top of the X5 slide.

DanHWith a comp and lightening cuts, they should have gone the other way and put a much lighter recoil spring. I know it's not quite an apples to apples comparison, but most 2011 comp guns run close to an 8# recoil spring.
