I think this is a tremendous deal - $80 for a chrome-lined, phosphate coated barrel for P220.

https://www.sigsauer.com/store...hrome-phosphate.html

I went ahead and got a parts kit for the P225 and P220 while I was at it.

Wow. Won’t get much cheaper than that.

My P220 has very few rounds through it, certainly not enough to justify a barrel. But that’s a great deal, I think used goes for more than that.

I'd call SIG and ask about that before buying.

I found this on another forum quoted by a member there-
“I just called Sig. The 220 and 227 use the same barrel.”
I might still call but it sounds good.

Man, that would be a great addition for any of my 220s --especially for my frankensig DAK parts build gun. But as usual during the holidays, I'm already spent for the next few weeks with no wiggle room for gun gear. Frown

Just ordered mine.

Good timing on this. I was going to order this barrel from TGS the other day. They were out of stock.

Welcome aboard Iceman. Lot of great folks here with an enormous amount of knowledge and experience. But beware, it will cost you money.

SF just cost me $80 plus $29 for an FDE P365 grip frame.

.

FYI ~

When I set up the Sig Store to only display P227 parts, all three of the shown barrels state they are also compatible with the P220.

When I set up Sig's Store to only display P220, the threaded version of the same Chrome lined barrel and three other barrels say they are all compatible with the P227.

Could there be something different with the Chrome lined P220 barrel that is not compatible with the P227 ~ it's possible but I think doubtful.

You can always wait for the day after Christmas when Sig's Customer Service is back ~ but I bought one for me expecting it to work.

When they say phosphate finish they mean it.

Anyone know if these are DLC or blued underneath or just phosphate coated carbon steel? The chrome lining is nice, very Beretta 92ish.
