I find it interesting that SIG is co-marketing with Icarus. Give Icarus some (more) legitimacy.

Thank you for the chance at this karma!

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." "Midnight Bronze Pro Elite"

Does SIG have a random word generator they use for these names?

That's funny. Gives me a throwback to a group of D&D players rolling a dice and using a random generator list for names of pubs and taverns.

I believe that is the package that Icarus Precision is selling on their website. So Icarus is responsible for the name and color choice.

You're a barrel of laughs. How many times have we seen these word salad names from SIG and other gun companies?

I signed up because I like free stuff and don’t have the sense to avoid giving away my personal data.

That being said, Icarus stuff intrigues me. I have a couple 365’s that I keep small for carry. Mostly stock upgrades like grayguns laser stipples modules. I also bought an XL. It serves no CCW purpose so I gave it an optic, a new grip, barrel, etc. All for range fun. Problem is I find I shoot this smallish gun as well and perhaps better than its Compact sized brethren. Kind of why I want that stupid comped slide. Long way to say adding some weight to an XL sounds like a fun exercise. I need one of you guys to buy one and supply a detailed range report. Lol

Thanks for noticing. I think I'm hilarious but no one I know seems to agree with me. Smile

In this case however I don't think you can blame SIG for the Midnight Bronze name. That's a Cerakote shade that greatly if not exactly resembles the color of that grip module on the giveaway page. One of the AR companies had a build done in that shade a while back for a giveaway themselves (might have been Aero Precision but I don't remember for sure). But I admit that I was teased and tempted enough to consider doing a rifle build using that shade or something close to it.

As for 'Pro Elite'...well, that's very much a SIG thingy.
