I'm finally back! It's been a long time, but I found a W. Germany marked P228. It's from 1994, but still within the time frame for West German marking law. Now I need a good holster and more magazines.

Good looking gently used P228. For good measure, put a $25 spring kit it and you're good to go for many rounds of enjoyment.

Nice looking old school P228.

For mags, go Greg Cote's 15-round flush fit Mec-Gar mags.

My first day at the range with the P228. I had Federal HST 124 standard pressure, Winchester Ranger bonded 147, Speer Gold dot 124 +P, and LAX 124 range ammo. I didn't count, but probably shot 300-400 rounds. Everything was just fine and accuracy is great. The +P Gold Dots are definitely snappy! I am very happy!

Here's some mags that match your P228. Good price, same vintage and similar condition to your pistol. I picked up a half dozen a while back. They ain't real pretty, but they work flawlessly.

Nice, my 228 is my all time favorite. Not sure if you're interested but CCR has their sale going on until the 15th, I've thought about having mine refinished but just can't seem to do it.

Arguably the very best Sig ever made.

Congrats on your return.

I got some mags from gun mag warehouse for $15 each. They're all hi-cap ban era SIG factory mags, but no issues. All have strong springs, good followers, no dings.

Nice P228! Don’t shoot too much +P ammo through it though. That will really accelerate wear in the old gal. Stick with standard pressure ammo.
