cee_KampI am an avowed S & W hater, the company, not their guns!
I have owned countless Smith & Wesson handguns over almost 43 years. I am down to only two now.
Why? Their corporate vision no longer aligns with mine.
Yes, I get it. They can acquire any business they want (and can afford) and do whatever they want to the business or multiple businesses that they acquire.
Some years back, Smith & Wesson acquired Thompson Center Arms. S & W wanted rifle barrel manufacturing capability for their AR 15 product line.
In a few short years, S & W ran the T/C business into the ground and quit producing the T/C line.
In case nobody else noticed, Thompson Center Arms is back in business again! And Smith & Wesson no longer owns T/C.
Thompson Center Arms:
https://tcarms.com/Smith & Wesson makes a lot of nice products, It is a shame I will never buy any of them. I personally won't ever forgive them for what they did to Thompson Center Arms.
The Thompson Center Encore, which in my opinion is the most versatile firearm in the world, is back!

rat2306They've committed their fair share of backstabbing crap over time, this is true. I had forgotten about the deal that they made (well, the CEO at least) with the devil back in the '90s (it was political in nature). But they changed course. I hope that the current leadership will not repeat the clusters that past management created.
