| 75 Compact is heavy due to its steel frame. P-01 an excellent all-around pistol and perfect compact size. 75 D (for decocker) PCR Compact is pretty much a P-01 w/o the front rail, so also an excellent carry gun. Rami has a decent following but not large enough to keep it being discontinued recently. Compared to other CZ 75 variants, it has a reputation for being a little fussy and going through recoil springs quickly.
The main reason to get a Rami is its shorter slide if that's important to you. Otherwise, it's the same width as the compacts above, and most owners end up using a longer mag w/ grip-sleeve.
CZ 75 is a great design, which is why it's one of the most cloned platforms. CZ 75s have pretty good DA/SA triggers but not as good as SIG P-classic series guns. If you spend the money to upgrade a CZ 75 variant w/ CGW, CZC, or MCarbo parts, you can get your CZ to where it'll outperform most SIG P-classics. |

| Check out the P-07. Very close in size to a Glock 19. And Cajun Gun Works will make it even better. I sent mine to MCarbo for trigger work and love it.

| I really like my P07 but I would never choose it over P01/PCR unless weight was deciding factor. The classic metal grip of P01/PCR is my holy grail for shape and ergos. Love the CZ decocker design. It is easy and placed perfectly unlike Sig. The other advantage of P01/PCR is they accept standard CZ75 compact and full-size mags. Full-size CZ75 mags are plentiful and cheap. Right up there with Beretta 92 and Glock mags.
If you install or have installed CGW trigger parts the gun gets into sublime territory. Change out that, get your sight of choice and it’s a perfect carry gun. I’m partial to Lok Grips as well. Between the perfect grip and the grippy Lok Grips my compact CZ’s just lock into my hand. |

Just mobilize it
| Can’t really go wrong with any CZ in my opinion, though I do like the feel of my PCR over my P-07 by a decent amount. Not to say I don’t like the P-07, but the balance, pointability, and action of the PCR is superior. I really need to send it to get cajunized one of these days. greenshot download |

| I have a poly RAMI and a 75 Compact. The RAMI is a highly underrated pistol. It feels a little smaller than a Glock 26. Trigger is good out of the box but I had CZCustom do a trigger job on it. Beautiful. I had CGW due a trigger job on my 75c. Just as good as CZCustom to me. The PCR is close to the 75c but about 5 oz lighter. 75 mags stick a little in my RAMI but I think that because it's the earlier poly frame. New frame shouldn't be an issue.
Love my Sigs but carry my Glocks

| The Rami is an awesome pistol, mines been Cajunized and it’s a sweet shooter. I also had a a P-01 built by Cajun but someone offered me $200+ more than I paid for it, so it has a new home. I personally haven’t heard of issues with the 9mm Rami… I know the .40 had some.

Matter of a preference and such. The P01's decocker rubbed a hole on my thumb. I had to spend quite a bit of time reshaping and making it smaller before the gun became usable for anything other than casual few mags fire. I had CGW do the trigger thing on mine and after two trips back ended up sending it to CZC for a final fix. |

A PCR is marginally lighter than a P-07, and the P-07 is marginally lighter than the P-01. By marginally, I mean about 1/4 oz. One of the reasons I got rid of my P-07 was b/c I didn't feel it did anything better than my P-01 except cost less. I weighed them on my digital scale, and my P-07 weighed 0.1-0.2 less than my P-01, a difference I considered insignificant. |

| Then I revise my statement. I would never trade my P01/PCR for my P07. Lol
I hate Sigs decocker. I have never found a way to actuate one without shifting my grip. Yep, a matter of preference. |

| I have a P10s it is ideal size same as HK VP9sk or Glock 26. VERY reliable and accurate. A friend has a Rami he loves it but SA/DA is not for me. It is smaller that the P10s maybe a bit too small for my taste. The 75s are EXCELLENT guns just a bit heavy. For carry a P10s is my favorite. |

| Haven't seen a P-07 "duty" noted but that is mostly to be avoided. The PCR and P-01 are good. Even clones like the Canik C-100 are reliable. Personally I would have no issues carrying my compact. I might be a little heavy but it's good heavy. |

His diet consists of black coffee, and sarcasm.
| I own or have owned a PCR, a "second generation" P-07 and a P-01. In a little twist, my favorite was the one I no longer have, the PCR. (It's a long story.) It was one of the few guns I've owned that "tickled me pink." Although 100% reliable and a good shooter, the P-07 doesn't excite me. The de-cocking levers are a little harder to operate then those of the other two. The P-01's sharply curved original trigger beat the shit out of my finger, taking a gouge out of it, leaving a flap of skin hanging and still painful a week later. I spent almost $200 more with CGW for a reshaped trigger and mild action job, taking it out of "bargain" territory.
The only real "drawback," if it can be called that, with CZ pistols is the slide riding deep in the frame, which gives you little to hold onto when racking it. Fortunately, mine have all been 100% reliable, right out of the box. However, my SIG P320 compact gets more carry time. |

I don't disagree with that. Hate is too strong of a word, I simply don't like them and hence don't own any. Speaking of preferences, beavertails on DA/SA guns is something I don't like. I am OK with that on game guns since holstering is done under rather sterile conditions and into a dropped and offset bucket of a holster. With practical use guns, especially with AIWB, I want to thumb down that hammer. Beavertails don't let you do that well. One of the reasons why my P01s are long gone without regrets. |
