Just lock the slide back and run it in the dishwasher. (No heated dry)
Then you just need to dry it off, spit on it, and load up. Wink

Then you run to the emergency room with a couple rounds in your kneecaps and get the divorce papers a few days later. Smile

A very long time ago ( and exposure to over cleaned military guns worn from over aggressive cleaning helped too)
I learned more guns are worn and damaged by bad cleaning And disassembly efforts than shooting.
As a result my cleaning habits are very limited. Knock off enough crud to keep the gun functioning and stop there.
Takes me about 5 minutes to clean a pistol, and only do so every thousand rounds or so.
The only guns I take more time on ( maybe 15 minutes) is guns shot with black powder.

Did no one see the monkey cleaning the gun? Are you boys heartless? How does that video turn into a gun cleaning diatribe. A cute little monkey was cleaning a gun who cares if his cleaning technique was flawed. He’s a monkey, cut him some slack. Lol

Stick it in the bowl, flush a couple times, done!

When I worked at the range I had the "alternate" safety rules that I would occasionally announce over PA system, one being "No matter how smart he looks, never give your firearm to a monkey."

I just throw mine down out in the yard and hit it with my water hose with the brass spray nozzle. Maybe a drop or two of Dawn dish washing soap if it's really cruddy and viola I'm done and it's good for another zillion rounds.

The baby monkey is cute. Maybe when it grows up it can shoot up the jungle with an AK. Now that's a funny video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6LWNQqs7TE

Ok I admit it. You made me feel bad for the monkey.

The worst ass chewing I ever got from my wife was for cleaning 5 stainless handguns in the dishwasher.

The second worst was for washing a load of oily cleaning rags in the washing machine.

The third was for putting a dozen freshly cleaned and lubed handguns on the red satin sheets of our bed for a photo session.

What a poor sport.

I watched 30 seconds of it and was not overly impressed... sorry.. but then if anybody check they will see I'm not a glock fan... and shot two or three over time.... but I was wondering about how you disassemble one... the same it seems as the striker fired Taurus I bought two weeks ago that takes the reverse upside down hand shake and pulling the slide back .12895" exactly and carefully pulling down two iddy biddy tabs... then pull the trigger and release the reverse upside down hand shake....
You know what's easier on some guns that will remain nameless.... I'll just say S-P: Lock the slide back, flip the disconnect lever down and release the slide....

I hope that the name of the monkey is not Ceaser.
