Does this help? A G31 with 1911 in back ground located off the top of the slide by surface ground tools.

Looks like the 1911 is steeper in this last pic. Confusing.

No, but I am sure weight had something to do with it. Rugers are notorious for being beefy.

Would you believe that, fully loaded with 125gr 357, they each weigh exactly 2lbs, 8 and 5/8 oz on my scales?
Ruger 4” Match Champion (Novak sights version)

all of us old revolver shooters noticed right away that a Glock points the same as a S&W K or N frame with Magnas ; we didn't need to adjust our hold. I've been shooting Sigs a lot more over the last few years, and ehen I draw a Glock from the holster, my presentation is always high. If I remember to shoot a Glock like a revolver, I don't have the problem.
