Hello, I have a few g20 pistols and Im messing around with one right now, I want to get a 22lb recoil spring in it because I have been shooting a fair bit of heavier weight ammo through it, its a woods carry gun for me and I've been hearing lots of people talk about getting a beefed up recoil spring. The gun in question is a gen4. Thank you!!!

https://www.glockmeister.com/F...GLOCKs/products/484/ https://www.glockmeister.com/H...roductinfo/HRSPRKIT/ https://www.glockmeister.com/G...ctinfo/GMSSR20C%2D2/ I was just looking at a G40 MOS; it's used, but one can't tell. It doesn't come with the factory barrel, but a rifled aftermarket barrel, otherwise stock with no obvious wear. I don't plan to use the MOS, but a 6" bbl with buffalo bore 10mm would be a nice choice for some applications. 650 sounds high; I suppose it's not so bad for a G40MOS, but if one isn't using the optic feature, and it doesn't have the factory barrel...seems high. The Glockmeister rods above allow the use of different springs.

I bought both 22 and 24 pound non-captive recoil springs from Wolff, (gunsprings.com) The 24 pound works well with Underwood 180 and 200 gr. bullets.

Are you running those in an aftermarket barrel?

Did you need to get a gen4 adapter or are you shooting a gen3?

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
Yup, you will need an adapter. I had a Glock 20 and found a 40 MOS slide for cheap. Used it so much, I sold the 20 upper and don't miss it at all.
