220 Sights
I have a CPO 220 that i love, but age is dictating i add some nightsights. I like the TFO’s from SIG, and i need to know if the stock sights are #8’s or #6’s.

Open to other suggestions also. I prefer the figure eight style with one front dot and one rear dot for a clearer sight picture. And im ok with just a single dot up front.

Thanks for any help!

I have a Legion 226 also. May put the x-ray sights on. Still need to know if the stock sights are 8’s though.

Rear Front
P220 8 6
P225 7 8
P226 8 8
P228 8 8
P229 8 6
P239 8 8

This has some age on it but I assume it is still applicable

You do know that the numbers are on the current sights. I'd look and see what is actually currently working for you and use that as a baseline.

I like the XRay 3 sights, left them as is on one gun, and replaced the front only with a SIG TFO on another.

Actually, I thought they would be on the sights somewhere, but I can’t find any numbers, at least visible without removing them. This is an older no-rail, no-tail classic gun.

The number is tiny. Sometimes on the flat (dovetail flat) of the front sight, and sometimes on one side of the sight. I usually need a magnifying glass to read the number.

Yep, with the help of reading glasses and a magnifying glass, I was able to find the “8” on both front and rear sights. The lint and other detritus of a carry gun didn’t help much...lol!

Now I just need to decide on the replacements and I’ll be good to go. I love this gun, old school cool, no-rail, no-tail 220 in .45 ACP. Hard to beat that!
