An excellent addition to an already great CCW system. What a difference 2mm makes. The OEM is 2.3mm; the Armory Craft is 4.3mm in surface area.

Looks nice. However I went the other direction, and cut off the right side lever on mine so it's not ambidextrous anymore. Wanted a safety for pocket carry reasons, but the less protrusions the better for me. Cut a safety cutout on left side of a standard frame so it wouldn't have a hole on the right side.

Thanks! The more options the better. Compared to the manual thumb safety on the S&W Shield line, the P365 system is light years better with a positive and audible lockup.

I'd be interested to see if you have any issues when shooting.
I added a much less bulky extended slide release to my Glock and found it rubbed my thumb during recoil, locking the slide back when firing.

I plan on taking it to the range tomorrow; it functions great during dry fire drills. I have never been keen on slide releases, extended or otherwise, having grownup using the slingshoting method. Speaking of Glock rubbing, I tried the Vickers Tactical trigger shoe on my G43x; after 100 rounds, it created a nice blood blister on the old bugger hook. Off to the failed parts bin. lol.

After a quick 100 rounds at the range yesterday, there were no issues with grip placement under recoil nor holster fitment using a Werkz M6 IWB. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the product.

Thanks Stormwalker, I didn't know about this. I like the idea of the P365 safety, but it's not big enough for me to feel comfortable that I would be able to swipe it off reliably the first time if I had to really move fast.

Waiting on Armory Craft to restock. I'm thinking this will be a big improvement over the stock part. I have a new Wilson Combat grip and may make modifications so it is setup as single sided safety.

Can you post a pic of the safety installed ?

Looks nice, also a trade off with holster fit, depending how one carries. I just received a kydex holster from Upper Hand in Utah, one for the P365.

This is for the manual safety model. One may have to modify a touch with a larger safety lever, no real biggie.

Thanks for the pics/review. I definitely will grab a couple of these for my 365's. The OEM safety is just a hair too small to me.

It'd be cool if they offered these in left or right-side-extended ONLY versions in the future. As well as a left or right-side delete version like the poster above mentioned.

Yes, agree. Much better safety. Similar to 1911 style.

This wider safety lever is much appreciated.

Regarding a lever on the right side it always seemed unnecessary on my M1911 pistols until an instructor during one course "injured" our right hands and made us shoot with the left. Amazing time difference putting the pistol in operation with or without a right safety lever. I had it put on my M1911s which lacked it and keeping it on the P365.
