P-series gunsmiths, the sequel
Could we possibly try this again, this time without drama, personalities, biases, grudges, whatever, and discuss succinctly the pros and cons of gunsmiths specifically for P-series, and especially P365 pistols? I have one on order and may want someone dependable and exceptional to work on it from time to time.

It would be especially helpful if they can be discussed both by personal and business name rather than just one, i.e. I like Bob at Ace rather than just I like Bob or I like Ace. The drama is entertaining in its own way but please, just facts for making best decisions? Thanks.

Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like.
Common sense isn't "right wing" unless you are too far to the left.

I've not had any work done by Gray, Bruce participates here, and I've only heard positive reports on his work and never negative.

I've used Robert Burke on several Sigs but not a P365. If you call him you'll get all the info you need and be prepared to spend some time on the phone. Knows his business and a good guy.

I will second TheSigArmorer/Robert Burke. Been knowing/using him and recommending him for as long as I have been a member here.

Have watched him grow into what he is today and have never had or heard anything negative about his work.

His quoted turnaround times are real and even though he has grown he still is able to meet his estimated quotes and timelines which are quick and reasonable.

Go to his website and if you have any questions give him a call and he will take the time to answer your questions or concerns. He has many options available and will work with you to work out the best end product to meet your needs.

Mr Burke has done work for me.
He is somewhat local, and I met him in person.
He is friendly and professional.
Figured out what was wrong with my P226 when the internet and I couldn't.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his work.

I'm not stating he is any better than anyone else since I have not experienced anyone else's work.

Another vote for Burke. He’s done all my Sigs, HK’s, and Berettas. Master craftsman. Call him up, and discuss what you want done. He’ll answer all your questions.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

The long and the short of it that you can't really go wrong with either Grayguns or Mr. Burke. Flip a coin.

I have an old stamped steel slide P226 that Scott (Flork) worked up for me years ago when he was at Grayguns. I also had newer P226 and P229 that they went through.

I've also had success with Robert Burke.

When someone says, "Which one?" The answer is, "Yes."
