PASigAny Kel-Tec P-11 Fans Here? End Of An Era
I thought we had a few members that had carried the P-11 in the past and liked them.
I got an email from KT saying that it's discontinued after 25 years in their lineup. Makes me wonder if they are working on something new in 9mm?

bald1I had and carried one for years. Despite being absolutely disgusted with the trigger, it went bang every time. My youngest shot it, loved it, and now owns it.
Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club!

GT-40DOCI have owned mine for many years now. I have somewhere over 6K rounds through it with zero malfunctions. I carried it for quite a while, but now it resides in my truck, and I carry my P3AT with a crimson Trace on it.

P250UA5Mine is in my pocket right now. It's my go-to pocket carry, when I can't IWB the P320.
Looks almost identical to bald1's above, but without the belt clip & with an added Northwood aluminum trigger.
Wonder how long they'll continue parts support.
Only issue I've had with mine was having the tab on the slide stop break off at the range. Still functioned fine, but the last-round hold-open wouldn't engage.
Short call to the mothership had a new one on the way with no drama.

HRKHad a P3AT, worked every time, cheap, easy to pocket, buddy had the PEE EFF Niner, IIRC it was not a great gun to shoot but it shot fine...

copaupI had one of those back around 2000. It spontaneously disassembled itself in an energetic fashion while shooting. Exciting gun.
I don't hold a grudge. I own 2 LCPs and a LCP 2 that have never given me a lick of trouble.

Jimbo54I never owned a P-11 but have had a PF-9 that is similar for many years. Always goes bang with any ammo you run through it and is accurate enough for self defense. It's currently my vehicle anti car jacking gun. I can get to it a lot faster than my carry gun and like I said, it goes bang every time you pull the trigger.

FredwardI rotated a P-11 and a P-32 for years, both with belt clips. They always worked. My cousin has the P-11 now. The 32, although quite plum colored on top, still works and I use it when I need deep concealment.

P250UA5I'd still like to find a nice P40 & a 357Sig bbl to go with it.
Though, I'm sure the resulting P357 would be a handful.
There was also a company making a 22lr conversion kit for a while.

Sunset_VaI had one, a stainless model. This was back in the days before pistols like the Ruger LC9 were even thought of.
Never had any trouble with mine. Try as I might, I could never adjust to the super long trigger pull. This was also in the days before the Northwood triggers.
Hate or love, Kel Tec needs to get away from their line of DAO hammer fired pistols. I currently have a PF9 that I carried for years. After getting my Ruger LC9s, I hardly carry it. I can get 2 shots off with the Ruger in the time for 1 shot with yhe PF9.
In it's day, the P11 was unique.

mikeyspizzaI have 2, both trouble free, and better than nothing, but they got replaced by a G26. Maybe they'll be worth something some day?

WolfpackerI still carry my Keltec P-11 part time. Had it for many years. One of the first concealed carry pistols I purchased.
Totally reliable. Totally trust it. I grew up with double action revolvers so the trigger was not a big deal. Might not be for everybody.

PASigWhile browsing the KT website I realized they made a very subtle change in their naming convention for all their products and have removed the dash from them:
P-32 is now P32
P-3AT is now P3AT
PF-9 is now PF9
etc etc

VBVAGUYI have 2 of them and carry one time to time too. Mine have been reliable too. The Keltec P11 is the ORIGINAL small double-stack 9mm way before the Sig P365 and Springfield Armory Hellcat. With the hard to find P40 magazine, you can use it with 9mm rounds and get 12-rounds in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber for a total of 13 rounds. God Bless
