I do feel lucky. My dad decided to make room in his gun safe and these went home with me today:

The top one is a nickel plated Model 27 I bought for him to go with his 1963 Nickel plated Colt Python and his nickel plated Model 19-3.

The middle one is too much for him to shoot these days, but I’m still OK with it.

The bottom one is 357 mag, not 44, but still cool. Cooler than my Lee Horton 686 no dash. I sure someone on the forum will know why. Wink I did find the original wood stocks, but have not yet found the box.

Very cool. Those are treasures that I am sure will bring joy for many years to come. I was left my dad's carry gun and it will go to my son or daughter, if she would ever come shoot with me.

Uh uh. I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk - Harry Callahan

Awesome to get such nice gifts from your dad, plus a 3" .44 is a very handy thing to have. You never know when you might need a pocket howitzer. Mine only holds 5, but I love it.
