Talon grips on a duty pistol?
I just had this discussion with a partner at range qual. He scrubs the grip with alcohol and a toothbrush, lets it air dry, applies the Talon grip, works it in to the surface with thumbs and a heat gun on low setting, wraps the grip in burlap with a knot and twists the burlap to constrict it as you would with a tournequet and let's it sit for two days.

He's had no separation of movement of the grip after a couple of years.

Although I have and love the rubberized Talon grips, I live in Texas, and they do peel - I’ve replaced them twice, and while I keep them on my range gun, I’ve taken them off my carry guns

Thanks for the replies. I like the burlap idea.

I put on the rubber Talon grips and so far I like them. A full range day will soon enough reveal how they truly are. Smile
