I am trying to find the right magwell for my Legion P226 SAO. Does anyone here have experience with them?

I don't have any firsthand experience in it, but a friend of mine installed a TRT magwell on his P226 SAO and he loves it. It looks spectacular.

The have a gray version that matches the Legion gray perfectly. It is designed for the P226 SAO only and will not fit a DA/SA. TRT also sells the gray aluminum basepads too, as your stock magazines will not fit once the new magwell is installed. That was the main reason I chose not to install the magwell on my P226 SAO. None of my original magazines would work and would require buying all new magazines, plus the new aluminum basepads to work. The magwell requires Mec-Gar 18 or 20 x 9mm / 13 or 15 x .40 P226 magazines.

I went with the TRT and really like it on my game gun.

Be aware that you NEED the TRT magazines or the bases they sell to work with the mag well.

I purchased a TRT magwell and it's a thing of beauty!

However, I planned on using the Mecgar and SIG 20 round magazines and they do NOT fit in this magwell.

So, now I'm stuck with a $99.00 magwell that doesn't fit.
