Someone posted on when the group is off dead center how to change your improper grip. Tried the "find option" but couldn't come u with it. Can anyone help me locate that posting? U.S. Army 11F4P Vietnam 69-70 NRA Life Member

That chart was originally designed for one-handed, slow fire bullseye shooters. Honestly, it’s worthless as a diagnostic tool outside it’s original, sole-purpose intent. https://www.luckygunner.com/lo...l-target-waste-time/ Not sure what you shoot, but here’s Jones’ thoughts on grip pressure as it relates to a Glock. https://youtu.be/YNVYu3koF4o

Yep. And for the visual types... Do you shoot your handguns like in this photo? If so, that oft-reposted chart has some merit. Otherwise, not so much.

Neither of those charts take into account the pressure effects of the other hand. They are common crutches used by folks looking for a hardware solution to a software issue. It isn't about seeing a result and applying a solution, it is about understanding the solution and how to correctly apply it No, Daoism isn't a religion

both grip and where you place your finger on the trigger are vital.... I think that chart is correct to a degree but because their are numerous variable with shooting a pistol it's hard to narrow it down to just one thing causing the problem. As a side note, one of the items that helped me see how grip and finger placement effects your aim is a red dot not he pistol.... you can actually see the point of impact move as you squeeze the trigger.
