Looking forward to seeing if SIG makes the steel frame available for the 357/.40/10mm/.45, even if that's likely to take a while at best.

Their spec list can confuse a lot of folks. What's stainless steel is the frame, and in SIG's nomenclature regarding the P320 and P365, it's just the FCU. The grip module in this gun is just aluminum (AXG). In classic P-series SIG terminology, we would call the grip module the frame. And, just looking at the weight of 32 oz will tell you that it's not an all stainless steel gun.

Fudge. I have been resisting the P320 for awhile but this might be the one that breaks me.

Anyone know price for this?

I believe Q is correct. As Q stated, what would be the receiver on a classic series is the grip module on the P320. And the AXG module is aluminum but highly polished for this model.

^^ That makes sense to me, but it seems to be kind of a pity. I have nothing at all against the aluminum grip module on the AXG but if aluminum is good then - IMHO - there are still times when steel is more appealing than aluminum.

Sig made a beautiful film about this handgun and the tomb a while back. Well worth a quick 8 minutes of your life.
