Sig announces the P320-M17 Ceremonial
Link

SIG SAUER is honored to introduce the P320-M17 Ceremonial. Exquisitely crafted to help honor and celebrate a legacy of service.

Inspired by the SIG SAUER ceremonial pistols created for the soldiers who guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The P320-M17 Ceremonial is built around a high-polish AXG all metal grip module fitted with custom Hogue walnut grip panels. Featuring a high-polish optics-ready slide and SIGLITE front and rear day/night sights. Chambered in 9mm, the P320-M17 Ceremonial maintains the same reliability as its duty-grade cousins with a 4.7” carbon steel barrel, M1913 accessory rail, and 21+1 round capacity. The P320-M17 Ceremonial – an acknowledgement of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country – a symbol of courage, resilience, and undeniable impact, marking the end of a commendable career of service and beginning of active duty alike.

the link says stainless steel frame. Not aluminum or polymer.

That's truly awesome!!!

I predict these will be highly sought after.

Gorgeous, but, no thumb safety?

Looking forward to seeing if SIG makes the steel frame available for the 357/.40/10mm/.45, even if that's likely to take a while at best.

Their spec list can confuse a lot of folks. What's stainless steel is the frame, and in SIG's nomenclature regarding the P320 and P365, it's just the FCU. The grip module in this gun is just aluminum (AXG). In classic P-series SIG terminology, we would call the grip module the frame. And, just looking at the weight of 32 oz will tell you that it's not an all stainless steel gun.

Fudge. I have been resisting the P320 for awhile but this might be the one that breaks me.

Anyone know price for this?

I believe Q is correct. As Q stated, what would be the receiver on a classic series is the grip module on the P320. And the AXG module is aluminum but highly polished for this model.

^^ That makes sense to me, but it seems to be kind of a pity. I have nothing at all against the aluminum grip module on the AXG but if aluminum is good then - IMHO - there are still times when steel is more appealing than aluminum.

Sharp as a tac you are. Nice looking 320. Not all 320s have a trigger like this correct?

Sig made a beautiful film about this handgun and the tomb a while back. Well worth a quick 8 minutes of your life.

Is this a limited run only like the M17 & M18 Commemoratives?
